NSS

The National Service Scheme (NSS) provide the students an opportunity to participate in the programmes success as helping the needy and clean and green programmes, laying of roads, social service, contributing to national development and progress. The aim of NSS is education through community service.
Admission to the NSS is optional. A student has to serve for 2 academic years in NSS participate in regular NSS activities and attend camps conducted during the vacation. For further details of the students may contact any of the NSS Programme Officers of the College.

NCC

With an aim to develop qualities of courage, comradeship (camaraderie), discipline, leadership, spirit of adventure, sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth, NCC was commissioned by the Presidential Act in 1948. In order to instill these noble qualities in our students, the first N.C.C. Company was raised in our college in 1962.

  • NCC Training shall be voluntary for all able bodied male and female students.
    There are two platoons for boys and two platoons for girls with a strength of 100 each

  • Every student who is enrolled will have to undergo training for 8 periods (of at least 45 minutes each) per month during the training year no training year.

  • No training will be imported during vacation.

  • Annually the NCC authorities will be conducting training camps. All training cancer compulsory.
